I was born in 1943 and as a child was already busy painting, drawing and creating ceramics.
At the PABO in Tilburg I studied arts and crafts and after graduating worked as an arts and crafts teacher. For many years I trained in ceramic sculptures. At the age of 34 I became a yoga teacher, specializing in respiratory therapy training and meditation.
I had a yoga practice for some 23 years.
Since 1992 I have combined are my artistic talent and my many years of study on the inner spiritual world. The result of this is what I term the joyous painting process of unification. Therein I work with soft pastel, oil and acrylics among others.
I exhibit both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Paintings from my collection are owned by individuals, institutions and companies.
I've had numerous publications in various magazines.

Several of the works have been used to illustrate books. My works on postcards are sold throughout the world. Doctors and therapists also use these paintings to support the healing process. I have also included them on my postcards for this purpose. |
